John Allen Nelson was born in San Antonio, Texas. He is best known for his
role for one season as John D. Cort on the series Baywatch.
John has a solid resume with movies and TV guest appearance. His credits
include 'Past Perfect' (1998), 'Follow Me Home' (1997), 'Shelter' (1997),
and 'XXX's & OOO's' in 1994. He also was in 'American Yakyza' (1994),
'Criminal Passion' (1994) which he wrote and was executive producer. He
wrote 'Best of the Best II' (1993). John's other credits include the TV
movie 'Single Men, Single Women' in 1990, 'Perry mason: The Case of the
Lethal Lesson (1989/TV), 'Deathstalker III: Deathstalker and the Warriors
from Hell' in 1989, 'Summerhouse Slaughter' (1989), 'Killer Klowns from
Outer Space' (1988) as Dave Hanson, 'Hunk' (1987) as Hunk Golden and in
'Saigon Commandos' in 1987 as Timothy Bryant.
John appeared in the daytime soap 'Santa Barbara' in 1984-1986 as the first
actor to portray Warren Lockridge. His TV guest appearances include
'Pensacola: Wings of Gold in 1987 as Captain Tom Redding in the episode
'Birdseed'. John was put in an appearance on 'Matlock' in 1986 as Bill
Parker, 'Murder She Wrote' in 1984 as Tod Sterling in the episode 'From The
Horse's Mouth,' Buck James in 1987, 'Hunter' in 1984 as Dr. Tim Donaldson
in the episode 'Shades,' 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King in 1983 as Brian Dubinski
in the episode 'Suitable for Framing.' He has also appeared on an episode
of 'Friends' in 1994 as Paul, the Wine Guy.
