Jason was born in Nanakuli, Hawaii.

mother. He returned to Hawaii years later and was curious about his
Hawaiian roots.
While attending college, he was discovered as a model. He won the
1999 'Hawaii's Model of the year,' and participated in the 'Governor's
Fashion Show,' 'Liberty House' fashion show, and has hosted the 1999 'Miss
Teen Hawaii USA' contest. Jason has walked the runway as a model for
Louis Vitton, and Japanese designer, Takeo.
