I was born in Ventura, California, but I moved to Houston, Texas and that's where I grew up. Houston is where I began my career in front of the camera. I won several local beauty contests and was lucky enough to be chosen as the national "Texas Budweiser Girl". Then while I was working as an aerobics instructor, I became the "World Gym" spokes model, which helped make me known throughout the state of Texas.
When I was 22, I decided it was time to pursue my dreams and further my modeling career. With only a thousand dollars, I took a chance and headed back to California. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, I met my wonderful manager, Marv Dauer. He promptly sent me to audition for a small part in "The Bold and the Beautiful". To my shock and surprise, I won the role. After only three days in Hollywood, I was already a working actress. It was amazing!
It was not long before even more started happening for my career. I made appearances on "Diagnosis Murder", "Silk Stalkings", "Pacific Blue", "High Tide", "Weird Science", and "Married with Children".
Then in 1996, I received a major role in the exciting world of daytime television on NBC's number one daytime drama, "Days of Our Lives". For three years, I enjoyed playing the part of 'Billie Reed'.
