Erika was wonderful on 'Baywatch' as spoiled rich girl Shauni McClain who came down to earth when she started dating the financially struggling fellow Lifeguard Eddie Kraimer (Billy Warlock). The fans absolutely loved seeing them together. They were magic on the screen as a couple.
Erika appeared as Shauni for two seasons (1st season/1990-1991 and 2nd season 1991-1992) as a regular. She and Billy Warlock decided not to renew their contracts for another season. They both had plans to pursue their talented careers with other projects. Erika personally wanted to pursue more movie projects. To explain their departure from the show, they appeared in 'Baywatch's' premier movie episode shown as a two-parter for the 3rd season/1992-1993) 'The River of No Return.' Shauni and Eddie were married in this episode and went off to Australia for a Lifeguard exchange program. Fans remembered them as a perfect couple who lived happily ever after.
Happy endings are extended to real life as Erika wedded her beau Philip Goglia
whom she had met at Fitness Training three years ago. The wedding took place
on March 16, 1998 at the 'Ritz-Carlton Hotel' in Marina Del Rey in Malibu.
Philip owns the 'Health and Body Nutrient' fitness studios that are located in
